The trade fair is a reflection of the growing dynamic of carbon-free storage and drive technologies. Exhibitors and conference participants looking towards 2017 with great confidence. The international industry event WORLD OF ENERGY SOLUTIONS 2016 showed a number of new products. Manufacturers benefit from the positive signals received from policymakers and the economy.

Review 2015

Organizers and exhibitors satisfied with the WORLD OF ENERGY SOLUTIONS 2015

After the conclusion of the trade fair, exhibitors and trade visitors delivered a positive summary of the WORLD OF ENERGY SOLUTIONS. Around 3,000 visitors exchanged ideas and attended 165 presentations on future-focused technologies. Stuttgart hosted companies, research institutes, delegations, exhibitors and visitors from a total of 30 countries.

The mood was positive in the hydrogen and fuel cell technology sectors. Exhibitors reported growing interest and many specific inquiries, for instance on the mass production of fuel cell systems and components. Forthcoming infrastructure plans in Germany, the Netherlands and the USA constituted the focus of attention for the e-mobility community. The entire value creation chain of battery production was represented in the section BATTERY+STORAGE.

Review 2014

Trade fair and conference conclude with success

The WORLD OF ENERGY SOLUTIONS 2014 has proven to be an industry meeting with international attraction for visitors, exhibitors and speakers from in total 35 countries. About one fifth of the over 2,700 professional visitors originate from abroad, the German visitors came across the whole country.

Cost reductions and efficiency gains were the focal points of the trade fair and conference. Innovative subassemblies for e-drive units, automated testing methods and integrated production lines for stationary and mobile battery storage were shown as examples for cost-cutting production methods. Power-to-gas systems and the announcement by the Clean Energy Partnership to set up nine new hydrogen fuelling stations in Baden-Württemberg in the coming year were another focal point. European best-practice examples explained the integration of connected drive approaches, e-mobility and the public transport network in intermodal traffic and decentralized energy systems. The presentation of battery storage devices and fuel cell CHPs for domestic energy supply, which are currently being launched on the market, rounded off the trade fair events.
